Kenexa Vizag is looking for software engineers with experience in developing web applications using .NET technologies who have a computer science degree and strong background in computer science fundamentals to join us in the role of senior software engineer. You'll become a part of our energetic group which shares a desire to design and develop quality and innovative software products, and help form the backbone of our global product-based software development team.

Requirements :

1. Must have a Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or relevant Engineering field.
2. Solid background in Computer Science fundamentals.
3. 4-8 years experience in software development.
4. Hands on experience in developing web application in Microsoft technologies.
5. Thorough knowledge of C#, ASP.NET are essential.
6. Good knowledge of SQL Server as backend.
7. Excellent communication (English) and analytical skills. Must be proactive.
8. Ability to document and communicate plusses and minuses of various design alternatives.
9. Should be able to quickly ramp up on any new area/module of the product.
10. Exposure to VB6 and COM is a plus.
11. Must be willing to work on existing VB6 code along with .NET.

Responsibilities :

1. Own and maintain existing complex product code with minimal supervision.
2. Estimate effort, design and develop production ready code with minimal supervision given complex functional specifications.
3. Must be able to break down tasks into subtasks and drive results through team work.
4. Manage communication with cross functional teams and ensure progress.
5. Should be able to define own goals and figure out how to accomplish them.
