Job Profile
Take ownership for one or more modules within the products and ensure the delivery of the work to established goals , timelines and quality.
Role Description
• Create programming specifications from business requirements document.
• Design, code and test major features, as well as work jointly with other team members to deliver complex changes for new or existing modules .
• Document draft specifications, test results, and solutions implemented .
• Code corrections for identified defects for new and existing releases of the software.
• Troubleshoot software issues.
• Ensure compliance to pre defined coding best practices to meet quality and timelines of delivery .
• Ensure adherence to processes as required by the project .
• Update the manager of the progress on module .
• Work closely with lead programmer(s) and business analyst(s) to establish the strong coordination to bring in the effectiveness in the delivery .
• Work independently and help the junior resources .
• Handle multiple work items and the dynamics of reprioritization due to the changes .
• Lead the team and coordinate with BU managers.
• Perform estimation .
• Plan and track the work for modules .
• To work on multiple activities (development, platform releases, installations, conversions, support, training, etc).
Mandatory Skills
Excellent skills in languages: C# and ASP .NET and overall .NET platform
Excellent skills in Platforms: Windows
Excellent knowledge of design principles
Knowledge of database development with Oracle, MS SQL Server.
Very good analytical and problem solving skill.
Quick learner of new processes.
Outstanding interpersonal skills and an ability to work with all personality types to overcome obstacles .
Must be a self starter who is extremely organized, detail oriented, and has the ability to meet tight eadlines
