Technical Skills
Possess the engineering ability (under the supervision of experienced planners) to develop moderately complex network plans with associated cost estimates, and create equipment deployment orders based on capacity requirements, project schedules, site conditions and Sprint/Industry standards.

Possess the technology background to acquire a working understanding of the following network platforms, associated functions and integration requirements:

Possess a working understanding of wireline and wireless network architectures.

Possess the technical ability to conduct network and equipment design, feasibility and cost assessments under the supervision of experienced planners.

Accountabilities (major/routine/minor)
• Develop and publish directives (Network Planning Letters) to deploy wireless equipment under the supervision of experienced planners (major)
• Access reports and databases to gather data on platform and site capacity status (major)
• Assist experienced planners in the development of options to resolve capacity constraint situations (routine)
• Forecast, execute and track funding for specific projects (routine)
• Track and monitor projects to ensure they meet funding requirements, project schedules and capacity requirements (minor)
• Compile data for recurring and ad-hoc reports regarding network capacity, network element, and budget execution data (routine)
