JOB DESCRIPTION: -
Role specific responsibilities:
• Timely delivery of robust, quality (zero defect), unit and system tested applications and components, and supporting deliverables (JUnit tests, test results, documentation etc.).
• Regular and ad-hoc reporting to status/progress to Lead/Manager, including escalation of issues and exceptions. Clear articulation of progress against plan.
• Defect Management (including problem analysis and generation of solutions, Status Tracking & Reporting.
• Interaction with other groups within the organisation throughout the full project lifecycle.
Desired Candidate Profile
they are looking for a person with following Essential Skills:
* In depth knowledge of C#, .Net Technologies, and Microsoft SQL Server. Knowledge on Microsoft Office Automation tools (XLA, Access, VBA Macros) is also desirable.
* Core Java programming experience and a good understanding of Java-DB set up & debugging of JAVA code
* Working knowledge of various Software Development Methodologies and ability to apply them to specific projects.
Supplementary Experience: (Useful additional skills)
* Core Java programming experience is an added advantage. Otherwise, a good understanding of Java-DB set up & debugging of JAVA code will be a distinct advantage.
* Investment Banking Back office knowledge and experience in systems or processes around trade life cycle. Familiarity with investment banking products, knowledge of derivatives, Fixed income and Money markets.
