Job Title: Software Engineer

Report to: Project Lead
Experience: 3-4 yrs
Major Responsibilities:
Develop s/w products & applications according to the AVL s/w development processes.
Perform coding & participate in related reviews and discussions on change request.
Prepare documentation as required.
Perform peer unit testing activities, including preparation of Test Cases, performing tests, and maintaining logs & correcting problems.
Participate in work-product reviews and other reviews as required.
Participate in Integration, sub-system and system testing, and installation, acceptance testing and changeover as required.
Support activities of requirements/design as required.
Follow the software development processes & participate in the improvement of the processes.
Designing and writing algorithms & flowcharts.
Job Qualification:
B.E/ B.Tech./ M.E./ M.Tech. (preferably computer science graduates)/ MCA from reputed institute/ University/College.

Skills Required:
Highly skilled on programming languages like C# 3.5, C++, .Net 2.0, Design Patterns.
Knowledge of Object oriented Concept (OOPS), N Unit, UML
Knowledge on SDLC
Knowledge of CMMI Processes.
Knowledge of N Cover, FX Cop, or any static tool will be an added advantage.
Experience on Desktop Application and not web based.
Some of the areas Apart from respective departmental responsibilities
Strong communication (written and oral) with good interpersonal skills,
Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, Internet explorer, networking.
Communicate with Team Managers/ head as necessary on issues that needs attention or assistance.
Complete assigned additional tasks in a timely fashion as required.
Maintain a tidy and organized workstation at all times.
Work as part of a team in a friendly and happy environment.
